3.      In 1972, given the name of our great Leader Smt. Indira Gandhi Govt. Medical College Nagpur to the Corporation’s Meyo Hospital Nagpur.

v             Nature and Extent of involvement of faculty and students in academic affairs/improvements.

 

§         Faculties are encouraged for excelling in their academic career by sponsoring for various seminars, conferences, workshops and Short Term Training Programme.

§         Staff members will be sponsored for higher studies with all benefits.

§         Industrial visits and tours are arranged for the staff for industrial exposure for undertaking good projects for students of latest technologies.

§         Conducts seminars by experts from Industries and Institutions.

§         Training and Placement Department is yet to be established.

§         Students will be encouraged for excelling in their academic career by attending various seminars, presenting Technical papers and participating in project competitions at State and National levels.

§         Students are encouraged for participation in extra curricular and Co-curricular activities by organizing Sports and Cultural activities.

§         Students participate in various programmes of personality development, communication skills development organized by colleges by various experts.

§         Entrepreneurship Awareness program for students will be arranged every year to make students take Entrepreneurship as a viable career option.

§         All the classes and laboratories are engaged as per scheduled timetable.
